Downloading & Emailing Catalog Documents
From time to time, you may want to download several of our documents for viewing offline. You may also want to email those documents to a business partner, whether it is someone in your organization or one of your customers. Our online catalog has features that easily allow you to package our documents into a single ZIP file, then download it to your hard drive, or email it to other people. This tutorial is presented in a "How do I?" format to easily show you what can be accomplished. Click one of the questions below to learn how to use this feature.
How do I email a single document?

What is a ZIP file? (return to top)
A ZIP file is a single compressed file that has the ability to contain multiple files inside of it. You can think of it as downloading an entire folder full of files all at one time.
What do I need to open a ZIP file? (return to top)
If you are using Windows XP on your computer, then you don't need any other software. Windows XP comes with a feature called "Compressed Folders" that can let you view and move files from ZIP files.
For other Windows users, the most popular ZIP file software is WinZIP.
How do I select a document or documents to add to my ZIP file? (return to top)
This is done in two simple steps:
Note: while looking at a single list of documents, you may check as many as you need and add them to the file. You must click "Add to ZIP" before going to another model. The system will not "remember" which items are checked unless you click "Add to ZIP".
How do I download the ZIP file that I made? (return to top)
Once you have added all of the documents that you need to the ZIP file, you will notice another button called "Download ZIP". Click that button to save the ZIP file to your computer.
Note: if you add a great deal of documents to your ZIP file, it may take a while for the system to create your ZIP file. Be patient and wait for the box that prompts you to save the ZIP to your computer.

Once you have added all of the documents that you need to the ZIP file, you will notice another button called "Email ZIP". Click that button to open the "send email" window.
Note: if you add a great deal of documents to your ZIP file, it may take a while for the system to create your ZIP file. Be patient and wait for confirmation that your message has been sent.

How do I clear the contents of my ZIP file and start over? (return to top)
Click the "Clear ZIP file" button
If I close my web browser and come back to the catalog, will I still have access to my ZIP file? (return to top)
No. If you close the browser and return to the site, your ZIP file contents will be cleared.
